Must be Fed

I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to Dominic's school during lunch time and saw two boys being fed by their maids. Even Dominic laughed when he saw them.

What were the parents thinking, sending their maids to the school to feed the little emperors?!

At least P1, which is about 7 years old.

Ah... have u seen grandmothers feeding them as well? Anyway, quite often the parents probably don't tell the maids to feed the children, but they do so bc they find it faster(!) - so they can finish their task faster and keep lah!

In school leh! It's a bit too much, right? Some more these are kids who are at least P1 already.

We may think it laughable, but it happens, lor. And the maids were just asked to bring food for the child. I don't think they were specifically asked to feed them. Hmm... maybe if you ever see the parents, you can just comment "your boy very "ho-miah", the maid dotes on him" and see the reaction.

I remember my daughter's school principal telling the parents not to go to school to "feed" the girls or even the grandparents or maids. She said "so embarassing for your girls, you know!". *haha*

If the child needs to be fed at school, he probably needs to be fed at home too. Surely it is not 'normal' for a child of this age to still need to be fed!

There is a waiting area at the school gate where we wait for school to be dismissed. The maids were feeding the boys there.
