Almost 4 year old potty accidents

My daughter turns four next month and had been potty trained since just before 2 years. She regressed a bit when her sister was born this last February but had gotten better. Now in the last three months she's started having accidents because she's waiting to long or just doesn't want to bother with going to the bathroom. Today we were all

I haven't been through this specific scenario, but I feel your frustration. One thing is to keep it up and just mind your patience. Keep having her to every few hours to prevent an accident. I'm sure it's mainly just the new addition to the family that she is still getting used to. She's probably getting over the whole sharing attention bit and just doesn't want the fun to end. Re-inforce good behavior by having her understand when she goes pee on time, then the fun will continue because "Yay! No accident!" or "See! You went when you needed to go, now we can keep having fun!" or something like that. Or, as odd as it sounds, go when she goes, so it doesn't feel so much as a "punishment", but reassurance.

I'm sure it will pass.
