Oh, yeah, and last night, a group of us were out in DC. Jhim wasn't really bitching about the cold, but he's from Massachusetts, so that may be why. Brian and Michael, on the other hand, had a fit when I said, "What're you TALKING about?? I LOVE THAT WINTER IS THIS WARM!!" (It was like 25-30, and breezy.)
But then, Michael came from AZ/NM, and Brian from GA... babies. ;)
That's about what it is here. It's pretty funny because it was 85 degrees on Saturday when we went to Houston, then it immediately went cold. So, everyone here was taken by surprise and is making a big deal of this being the coldest winter ever (highs about 45, lows about 25, slightly windy). They even put sand & salt on the roads...there's no ice on the roads, but they put sand out!
When I was taking the pics of everything covered in ice, I was only wearing a suede fall jacket (at least it's a fall jacket in MI) with no gloves or hat. I was actually touching the ice because I thought the green leaves & flowers incased in ice was cool. Man, I got some looks; they must have thought I was really loony!
