Isn't the daily mail ridiculously conservative?
I think I've heard a lot of bad things about they way they distort news stories to serve their purpose.
I have trouble trusting to much of what I read from there. Unforunately I'm not all that familiar with european news sources, so I may be mixed up, and I also wouldn't know who to look to for more trustworthy reporting. :-\

Overall, I get the impression that European news is more liberal/relistic than US news. But, then you have some very conservative religious groups in Europe who cry discrimination whenever people do things they don't agree with...somewhat like we have in the US as well. The Muslims that come to the US seem to be more liberal than European Muslims and more oriented towards bettering themselves rather than starting conflict.
