Ugh. I mean, holding idiot opinions is one thing, but it's the dishonesty that's truly disgusting. That tells me that they know they're on shaky ground and have to deceive people and do some convenient editing to make it look like they have any kind of case.

Yeah, it does show that they can't make a case...at least that is what those of us who know something about debate and science see. The problem is that the uneducated/ignorant in debating will see it as a victory.
