I'm taking a break from the work I'm doing at a moment and figured I'd post some movie reviews I've been meaning to do for awhile now. Some spoilers under the cuts.

You know what? As a big star trek fan myself, I haven't watched the movie myself. Why, you ask when I have the movie with me? Because:

THEY KILLED DATA!

I know that's a terribly childish and lame reason for not watching it, but he's my favourite character. :(

Part of the reason why did that does make sense though...Brent Spiner is now way too old to play the role for an android. He wanted his character dead in this movie anyway. I need to watch it some day but I don't think I'll like it...

I don't think it's childish or lame. If someone had told me before I watched it that Data dies, I wouldn't have watched it at all. Data is my favorite character too and they really didn't even give him much of a funeral/wake. I was upset by how little screen time Worf got too. It was just too centered on Picard.

I liked Catwoman and Elektra. I haven't seen the second Pirate's movie, but I want to. Have you seen SAW 3?

Nope, I haven't seen any of the Saw movies. I haven't been into horror movies much lately. I think the last horror movie I watched was Jeepers Creepers, which I didn't like much. I usually just end up yelling at the characters all throughout the movie.

I see. I yell sometimes too but, I enjoy it. I seem to find them funny now. I laughed through most of Freddy vs. Jason. Ah well, to each her own. ;)
