i have some more politics to discuss. first off, a bit of news, and a sorry sorry feeling in my head and chest (like the kind of pang you feel and hear in your head when you hear this news), 6 killed and 15 wounded in University of Northern Illinois, i'm just shocked and can't comprehend how this kind of stuff is still happening. i wonder how ( Read more... )

i'm (although also not a poli-sci) leaning towards obama right now. i think you're right and they're both very centrist and policy-similar, and so for me it has become mostly a matter of general electability. i think obama (with his gift for rhetoric (although personally I think he's leeching a bit off mlk) and his good-guy mass appeal, untarnished by scandal rep) is more likely to have an sort of edge over mccain (who despite his intelligence, moderate nature, and overall better-than-bush-ness, I still find a little terrifying, due to his foreign policy, prolife etc stances).

eh. my two cents, for what they're worth. (two cents! hah, geddit?)

I'm also extremely undecided. But Hillary's health care plan is something I can get behind. But then again, her health care plan during the first Clinton run was a total disaster.
