So i was wondering...
is it possible to have a self induced Multiple Personality Disorder?
It's known that MPD occurs particularly in childhood, when something traumatic happens to someone, this leads the person to develop another personality as a way of coping with the situation.

interesting notion! i think that to a certain extent what you are considering is true, but could not actually be classified as a personality disorder since you're bringing it on willingly and consciously fabricating the disorder yourself. However I think it would be closer to reality to say instead that one could project another persona, a character, as would an actor.

a lot of people who have s.a. ARE actually really good liars/actors and i think we could not only convince others that there is noting abnormal going on but also convince ourselves as well. gosh, i love the brain, haha.

and hey i just started taking a course called "philosophy of love and sex" too! but its at like the ungodly hour of 8 in the morning, baaaaalls.

urgh...i'm procrastinating as I type right now. The student load scheme is a whole loadda bs sometimes, but your course sounds pretty damn interesting, damn I wish I could do something like that here...I did have one class on porn tho lmao. And it was a 6-8pm class and people DID get rowdy so here's hopes for ya :-P

Simpsons movie and hot fuzz are fantastic.
