I've never heard of an automated booking system at medical clinics. What are they thinking?
I have 3 clinics ranked from best to worst. If I just need a prescription refill, I'll go to #3 the walk in clinic. If my issue needs a "good" doctor, I'll go to clinic #2. If I need the best attention and it's worth waiting for, I go to #1. Usually I can get in with #1 if the receptionist thinks I sound like I'm dying over the phone.
But it really sucks when the yearly physical comes around and you find out it's a 6 month wait at #1 and 3 months at #2. So now I book all the parts of a physical separately, so it all get's done within 2 weeks. Mwahaha.
