Hehehee, aparently not. I just keep remembering the way Charlie got his energy out of nowhere when Colby was about to die in episode 4.07 - Primacy. Now, Amita takes her energy from weird places - craziness, anger, etcetera.

Ian, I think it's past getting ugly (although, I guess no one has died...yet).
