Ooo I really like this. Especially that we don't know who Don is with until the end and the internal thinking he does. Although it did give me a little pause when I wondered if it was Charlie he was with...I like the pairing of Don and Ian--it's not one I've seen frequently. Can't wait to read the rest.

I think my favorite part is the internal thinking. LOL, the hardest thing about fixing this fic was that originally, it was borderline Don/Charlie. Which is not my thing when I write. The point is that I wrote it without really noticing. That required some serious editing and that's the main thing I've been fighting for two months. Haha.

Yeah, we don't see Ian/Don very frequently these days...

About the anonymous poster... I think some points are okay but I don't think that person got the main idea. I'm glad you did, though. That makes me very happy. *g*

I think my final went very well! It was really short, it had... very detailed questions, but it was easy.

Now I can go and read the rest of "Three for the Show"!

ooh. thanks for writing. i really like this pairing. even in its most painful overtures. and i haven't read a lot of don angst fic that really goes into his feelings of inadequacy and resentment to Charlie that is evident in the show.... or maybe i just haven't found them yet.

Mmm, interesting piece. I liked it, a lot. Cool premise that Don is who he is purely because of how he reacts to Charlies choices. It must be hard to live in someones shadow like that and come out of the other side without any repercussions. I liked that the piece was primarily about Don but then the reveal is that Ian, his lover, is just as broken as he is. Look forward to the next parts.

To me, that's the main thing - the issue is interesting. This all started as a way to play with people's thoughts as they are together in bed. Don's obsession and his reactions when it comes to Charlie was something that I had to write.
