Love Bless the Sinner
Candles burn, but the room stays cold.
Liz watches from a corner the man that stole her heart. She knows she won’t be taking her silky baby-doll any time soon.
It’s not a fight that has kept them apart tonight. It’s an unexpected outcome that took the life of someone who should have stayed longer.
He’s seated in the shadows. He’s rejected champagne and every love plan.
He needs peace. He needs a gently hand that makes everything better.
So Liz comes over and slides hers over his shirt. Her voice is protective, intimate, when she whispers, “Take it off.”
He takes his time to analyze the proposal. Lazily, without landing his eyes on her, he complies.
It’s vibrant sensation. His muscles clench at her first touch, but slowly, as she traces their curves and applies the right pressure, they relax.
And then the moment is gone… almost.
He pulls her towards him, catches her lips in a blissful, grateful kiss.
They are darkness and light, a fusion made in heaven - the perfect balance of action and prudence.
Today he doesn’t need passion; he needs understanding, tenderness.
And she provides. Just like sometimes, love blesses a sinner in disgrace.
The End.
