It's been a short while, now. More seem to have found themselves with one of the communicators, who didn't have one before. How many of you are there at this point?

Either way, I'm still hearing questions that bring up the name "Nuadoria," so, I guess I'll mention it here:

There's a text file on the device you have. It's like a guide to the ( Read more... )

-! [oh. she'll not argue, she can hear that tone. but, still, even if she'll listen she wants to know--] Who is he, exactly?

His name is Eko. A vampire, though not entirely, and nothing like the vampires that you and I are familiar with. A "Mikura," he said; a being crafted to thrive off of blood as its source of energy.

... [his voice tightens a bit] and he seems to live with the delusion that I'm some kind of obligation of his. All because it's apparently what he did in his world.

You'll be careful, won't you?

[Regardless of this Eko individual, it seems Zero has a little feeling that they've also become an obligation of his own as a hunter. No sense trying to stop him when she obviously knows nothing about what's going on. And she probably would be even less successful at helping than stopping him, in this case.]

So that's it, is it? Why I'm not dead

Well! At least some things are cleared up, now.

You must have been there for a long time, huh?

I'm not saying those are the answers, but it could offer more insight.

... Yeah.

I imagine it would be a great help for people who need it.

What is it like?

[ Madara sticks with the goofy Tobi act, just to be on the safe side. ]

A text file?! So this communicator thing is like a cross between a two-way radio and a very small computer? How clever! What's it run on? Chakra?

[ Reads the text file. ]

... So. This is the illusion the rest of you are under, is it? Hah! Okay, I'll play too. So if none of us are actually in Nuadoria now, where is this magical place? On the mountain? Or maybe the moon? Or maybe it's in hell! Heehee. [ mock mock mock]

... Ah! And this can even do video? It's a radio-computer-television? [ Who makes this stuff?? ]

... H-hey! Why don't I have one of those special creatures like it says in that file? Is it like a summon or something? They sound so useful...!

[ He figures that the creatures are also illusions. Maybe he does "have" one but can't see it. Since he, obviously, isn't under the illusion. ]

More or less. The device allows communication via text, audio, and video, as well as recording, and also has a hands-free option. I'm not entirely sure about its power source, though, aside from possibly the one who is and runs the network itself.

[. . .]

...if all of this were just an illusion, I doubt there'd be as many of us as there are, and within different worlds.

I don't know why no one else was given a familiar. And it's not a summon. They were given to those in Nuadoria, and are a part of ourselves. As the file says, if it gets injured, the person it belongs to will as well, and vice versa. There hasn't been a need for them to go into combat mode as of yet.

... I'm not sure that it holds the reason why they're alive here. By all means, they shouldn't been able to return home how they were.

Agreed. It was more an idea. ...A temporary answer to those desperate for one, if anything. Considering we kept our devices, which still work, and our familiars, I only assumed that there was a chance that it was due to Nuadoria trying to merge with the other worlds.

....though, I can see how that could just be taken as crazy-talk.

If that were to happen, I'd imagine we have worse things to consider than the dead coming back to life.
