This is great! I love how you managed to create the whole summer-y feeling. It's very hot today and I can almost imagine myself in this scenario. Gorgeous piece of writing!
Oh, and they are so in character and i adore the whole reconciliation vibe of this. Made me think of Stevie wonder's "cherie amour" for some reason. ;)
