Shay! *hugs back* I think that your friend's plan sounds amazing. I'm not sure if I'm at that point yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up there in the not too distant future.

Honestly, I've bounced back and forth with writing a lot, and it's a big commitment. I am surprised by how little time I feel like I have for everything these days - writing, organizing my closet, everything. My latest job has no breathing room and I've unfortunately let that mentality seep into the rest of my life. I'm trying to get some balance back these days (and maybe find another job).

I can only imagine how challenging and rewarding being a parent must be. My hat's off to you and what you're doing. I'm sure I'll be around for a while to keep in touch with your writing past!
