The laptop can be fixed! Took it to JWJ Computers, pulled it out of the backpack, computer dude with bad toupee said, "I know exactly what is wrong with it." Seems this model of HP was well-known for being very very bad--bad circuit boards. LOL it is big around these parts. The Barnett Shale has made the whole thing explode, and three of the people I worked with have already gone off to work in that industry. WHY NOT ME? :)

They drill alot around here--the ugly rigs go up and down all over. So far none close enough for me to get any mineral rights money though! *SHAKES FIST* So close, and yet so faaaaarrrr!!!!!!

I have not twittered today! That is where I usually see you! ha ha. :)

We have them eeeeverywhere here. They recently just put up something like 1000 new wells now? Which is why Declan and his company are all working constant 12 hour days because they have to test them all. IT IS MADCRAZY here. I wonder if oil & gas culture is the same everywhere, or if it is different in the states than it is in Northern Canada. IT IS A MYSTERY. Maybe if you start working in oil and gas you can tell me what your male coworkers are like and then I will know for sure. A rig pig is a rig pig maybe?

I actually got up, took laptop to the doctor, went to the store, and treated myself to breakfast out. And, uh, now I am going to take a nap. I KNOW! I am bad and lazy, but plotting last night after writer's group really made my head sizzle, and I could not shut the brain off.

Of course if i don't hurry Nick will be home--he went to say goodbye to his friend's dog, Schluppy, (spelling unknown actually) who helped cure Nick of being scared of dogs. (and then he fell in love with my girl husky so now he loves dogs). LOL.

Did not take nap, which is good, because I am now super tired which is good, so that I can just go to bed and get up on time. Mornings go by so fast when one stays in bed until 9! LOL.
