The one thing Bethany would admit to having (revolutionary streak aside) is a world of confusion. It is never easy when your life gets turned upside-down. And she does love Nathaniel, very much. It's just not the same sort of thing as what's going on with her now that Anders has shown up, and that can't be easy to sort out when you're also trying to act like nothing's wrong (and failing amazingly). I would say that yes, of course Nathaniel knows - I'm actually hoping to address this a bit later ^_^. And yes, I would also agree that Anders is a terrible thing to bet one's future on, but I suppose we'll see if all parties involved decide that it's worth it...

And yes, she is, indeed, off with Isabela. And I can confirm that we will see both of them within a few chapters. ALSO KING ALISTAIR. NOTHING IS COMPLETE WITHOUT ALISTAIR IMHO.
