I'm slowly trying to finish the first Dragon Age before I play two, but don't have the time right now.
I can't wait to reread this when I do finish everything.

But it feels, to me, like this was there, sometime. Before everything.
Also, I have been writing Dragon Age fic pretty much.... nonstop for the last month? It's just that I only just started posting it *LOL*

Makes it more potent if this existed before everything. =\ I read up a little on them and, well. This makes it even more depressing haha.
Well, I can't wait to read them! I'll probably have to reread most of them though, once I've played the game.

I would note, though, that it seems you have Orsino as being from Kirkwall, but his codex states he's from the Free Marches city of Ansburg.

There, generic opener get. That's what I get for not reading the codexes carefully XD

Really loved this - more people should be writing them...how are they a rarepair?! This needs to be rectified...

I think she was one of those refreshingly confident girls who had everyone getting in line behind her, not because she terrifies them, at least then, but because she compels them. No one rises so high just by being damn scary. She must have been likable once.

But I like how you're writing her - I can see her as the "you dare me? That's not even a good dare, but I'll do it because to not would just be pathetic" totally confident young woman. I like to think of young!Meredith as a bit sassy. I really think she must've had a sense of humor once upon a time...

I can only assume this must have happened before that thing with Meredith's sister? She seems so relaxed... and normal. I like the thought that lyrium was affecting her, even then. This was great!
