Wow. Very nice doesn't really begin to describe it. XD
This is about the best Yorusoi ficlet/oneshot I've seen in close to a year. XP

Kudos for having Yoruichi and Soi Fon in-character throughout the entire fic. You managed to bring up their history but not have the gloom from it overshadowing who they are right now, and still wrap up the end with a reference to their past roles. :D

I didn't want to make it gloomy, because I really think that eventually, someday, after everything they go through, they will learn to let go of the gloom. Maybe I'm a helpless romantic, but you know, whatever, I can live with that...

As for that line, I almost took it out; I knew it would either be completely cliche or completely perfect. I'm really glad you think it was the latter!

wow... that was great. The whole entire piece just kept on winding me tighter and tighter with each of Yoruichi's hints/teasing and then I finally reached the end and went WHOOSH!
