The Peter Disturbance, Hey Jealousy, PGjessicajasonJanuary 19 2010, 20:42:29 UTC
First of all, I can't believe no one has posted anything yet. Second of all, I'm more a consumer of fic than a producer, so here goes nothing. His name was Peter. He was tall and good-looking in a vapid kind of way. Penny had met him of the set of some commercial she'd been cast in, and they'd apparently been going out for almost a month

Aww. I thought I'd posted a response to this and it didn't go through. Lame, LJ.
But anyway: Thank you for posting! I'm not sure why it's taking everyone so long this time around, either. But for being a self-proclaimed fic "consumer" rather than a "producer," I'd have to say this was one very-well constructed piece.
And you used my prompt the precise way I hoped someone would. Every character was spot-on, and Howard's last line was just aces. It would be just like Sheldon to react this way, to be jealous without ever acknowledging (or maybe realizing) that that's what he is.

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it. I'm working on a sequel, which is based on the prompt Accidentally in Love, but it's coming out longer than a drabble. It will be posted at paradox if anyone is interested. When it's posted, I'll come back here with a link.

Definitely do that! What we typically do in drabble-a-thons is post the first relevant section and then you can link us to the rest -- that way it'll act as a 'tease' for the Chaos Theory readers :D
Ribbons of Green, bride and groom's first dance, PGveryberry_19January 21 2010, 00:05:41 UTC
The wedding was going to be beautiful. As the plans were laid out over a period of months, every time Penny saw Sheldon bent over a floor plan trying to finalize the seating arrangement or busily scrawling names on wedding invitations, a little smile came to her face at the sight of him, his eyes bright with an enthusiasm that was hard to detect on the surface. But she knew him well enough to know he expressed enthusiasm in the form of work. If he was busy planning, and at the level of detail that found him personally applying the little gold ‘adhesive decorative images’ on each personalized invite, then he was happy

Under My Umbrella, dancing in the rain, GmenacherieJanuary 22 2010, 06:18:56 UTC
"Penny?" Sheldon made a concerned noise that came from the back of his throat when Penny slipped her flip-flops off. They were barely a block away from the apartment. The concrete sidewalk was crawling with germs, not to mention the fact that it was raining, which meant bacteria was practically falling from the sky

Awwww! Very cute! Loved the imagery in this, with Penny dancing around in the rain, and Sheldon being just utterly fascinated by her (well... he always is, but this was especially cute)!
