[The image is moving, swaying from side to side and getting jostled about before finally it settles on a window sill and all that's in view is her rather empty room. She must be standing beside it, however, because her voice can be heard from above.]

That scared me. And I'm still not sure...

[She picks the NOC up, aiming the screen toward her

[Well now she feels a little bad; she should have just let him sleep. But she lets herself in regardless, finding her way to his side with a smile on her face.]

You shouldn't leave your door unlocked. There's no telling what kind of strange people might come in and take advantage of you. [Granted, that was also if they could overpower the SOLDIER.]

[Boys with bandages and broken bones need sleep. B|]

You would? [She leans forward at the waist, and he gets such a judging look.] I don't know, I think you're a little vulnerable right now, aren't you? Even I could do whatever I wanted. [Oh, that tone. But she's just having a little fun with him, making up for the years she's been without him.]

[Oh, so sly...!]

Of course. [To humor him, at least. She pats down those messy spikes of his then gently sits herself down beside him, scooting back so that she's leaning against the wall. Can't have him straining himself just for her.] I don't know what I would do if it were permanent again. Oh! But I guess it wasn't so permanent now, was it? [Right. He died. And so does she, eventually.] It really makes me happy that I get to see you now.

[Oops, ruined a perfectly good moment.] I... understand that. But you didn't write back! You know, I was sure you found another girl. [A dramatic sigh as she taps her boots together.]

I was ready to go look for a new boyfriend. [Hardly. She didn't want anymore boys in her life, and then plop! there was a Cloud.] I guess that's in the past now, though. Everyone should take advantage of the second chance we get because of this place. Paradise...

[Not on purpose! She's just on a terrible roll here.]

... [After he's settled she begins brushing her fingers through his hair, careful not to move too much so that he's comfortable. It's too bad things couldn't have always been like this; she might have lived a somewhat normal life being a SOLDIER's happy little girlfriend. Then again, she might have gone stir crazy if she had stayed in Midgar, too.]

The planet was so much bigger than I thought. [A soft exhale and she closes her eyes.] I should have done it sooner.

[He wasn't a bad boyfriend, just busy. ;A;]

That's right. Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie are here, so it's never lonely. And you are, too. [Eyes open and she looks down at him. Why must he look so cute, goodness!]

I like to think I ended up pretty lucky. [She stops petting long enough to lean down and just leave a small kiss on the top of his head.]
