[ Tseng was stretched across the thin mattress on the floor, having spent some time coughing out the powdered plaster, dirt, and Leviathan knows what else he'd inhaled.

From the church to their new residence, his voice began to rasp (as the fresh air was encouraging his coughing out the debris that settled inside his lungs) and he spent more time concentrating in finding a comfortable position for both his battered body and to better breath. ]

[Having Tseng around so many people with so much going on had really bothered Cissnei--She knew him well enough to be aware of the fact that if there was activity going on, he'd be in it, somehow. So while he had sounded worse on the way over to the first floor of the tower apartments, Cissnei knew it really would be better in the long run, to get the man to just chill out for a few moments or so.

They had been taught well in working under any extreme conditions, but attempting to go on the reverse about such was a challenge.

The girl sets the NOC aside when she was finished speaking, and moved over to the other and the only excuse for a bed they had and shifted to sit down gently on one edge, unsure if the man was asleep or awake at the moment.]

[ Tseng turned to the movement, his eyes opening to trail over her hand, then up to her before closing his eyes again. ]

[ He still hasn't heard from the SOLDIER, and knew he wasn't the only one concerned for his well being. ]

[Of who now? She doesn't let the confusion show on her face, merely letting it slide off for now, but noting the name.]

[ Now knowing he was awake, her hand slowly made it's way up to brush dark bangs back from his face, near asking the question How are you feeling?...But it seemed silly, when she could pretty much tell.]
