In a place as dismal as Paradise, who in their right mind would turn down swings? And on a more personal level, Buffy wouldn't turn down Hannibal. She needed this, in more ways than one. So the second they were off of the phone, she was on her way.

She was feeling somber. Quiet, on the way over, but when she saw him a little smile spread over her face. "Hey," she said lightly as she approached. It felt like she hadn't seen him in ages. Too long, anyway.

"Hey yourself, blondie." That was mutual at least, it had been a while and he didn't like that too much at all. Least of all when she'd been feeling so down because of it all.

"Did you get your jabs like a good little girl?" He wasn't sure what the threat from the radiation was, but he didn't like the idea of it at all. And no one around here needed to be getting sick with radiation poisoning.

"I would've had a bar of candy for you, but that small blue cat thing stole them." In reality, he traded the candy for a ball; but he wasn't admitting that out loud.

Buffy, tactile more than usual because of the environment, didn't waste any time in wrapping her arms around his middle and giving him a brief squeeze. She stepped back, chuckling a little as she looked up at him. "Yep. All probed up."

She wasn't a fan of the clinic; especially not with how quickly they'd cast Giles out when bringing him back. Especially not with how quickly they shoved Hannibal out the door. There were a lot of things she could say about the place; none of them were positive. But she knew that the injections and all of the poking was necessary to avoid getting sick. That was the last thing she needed right now; getting sick.

Her eyebrows raised. "A candy bar? Really? Where'd you manage to get your hands on something like that?" Chocolate sounded great. But she was a little skeptical about the existence of it here.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you, but that deal on the kidneys might come up sooner than we thought."

He didn't mind the hug, in fact, the fact that she kept it brief was more the reason for a frown than anything, but he didn't make comment. He didn't know if she was feeling any better over the stuff with Deacon, or if something else had come up, or what had happened. Whatever it was, he was just happy to hang out doing next to nothing from then on out.

"I'll need to see if I can steal some back. In exchange for my legs. I might get some for my legs." The Sebast kid, cat, thing, was a crazy little...thing.
