Summary: Danica and Mercury decide to make "the best of a bad thing", which might not be good for everyone else.

She had taken her time in getting to Danica, the feel of the rain as it poured down, soaking through her clothes was refreshing. She had stored Danica and hers shoes in an unoccupied room on the second floor, where she hoped they'd be safe from the water.

Mercury watched the humans scramble through the rain, hurrying as if they'd melt in the water, like that witch from the Wizard of Oz movie. Seeing Danica a bit ahead of her, she hurried her steps until she was behind her.

"Yes, it's me."

"Ah." She looked to the other woman, just as soaked as she was. It was madness for them to be standing out in the rain, through the wash of water, and thus it was perfectly fitting. Her hair flitted a bit with the wind but she just pulled it back over her shoulder to try and keep it form obscuring her view. She leaned closer once she had turned around making sure Mercury could hear her. "It seems to be more flooding than the storm before, I think the buildings might last through this one..." If not they were at least outside.

She raised a hand, fingers spread apart as she stared at the blond. "What shall we do?" She asked, and her tone was almost as dark as the sky. What would they do first? She wasn't even sure yet, but she was looking forward to it.

The dark heavy clouds would keep the sunlight from them, since it was hard to tell whether it was day or night through the storm. Her sopping wet hair clung to her face as she turned to scan the streets. There weren't many people about now, but maybe they could find something to break.

"We should try one of the abandoned buildings, see what we can stir up." Her voice was low, but she knew Danica could hear her, superior vampire hearing was a blessing sometimes.

"Lets." She agreed with ease, turning around to take in all the places before she began towards the closest building that looked unoccupied. Without her shoes on she was decently short, so it took a bit of effort to trudge through the water, but she paid it no mind. She was a strong woman, it wouldn't be too much for her in better condition.

"This place is a disaster, this is what happens when humans are left to their own devices." She laughed, she hated this place so much but she had given up on being angry with it for now. She wrapped her arms around herself at a hard gust of wind before hopping over a fallen bit of rubble. "Ah... Ah... looks like bits of our room." She said, though it really wasn't. Fingers dragged along a wall as she walked.
