When: Late morning; ten.
Where: NW Solamente Park, general area for Tom's Weaponry shop.
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Tseng is looking for Cloud, he has some questions in regard to Marlene as well as Yazoo.

( Even if you paint over it, it's still there. )

"Marlene!" Cloud shouted, sword out in one hand and the other hand brushing his wet bangs away from his face. To say that he was worried would be an understatement. He didn't think Marlene would have wandered out on her own without saying a word, he knew she knew better. Someone or something had taken her. Yazoo was the biggest possibility, and there was that alternate version of him that worked for Shinra walking around too...

He looked and felt wet and dirty, but he didn't care about that. Marlene was the most important thing right now, and he shouted her name again. Hearing a noise behind him, he whirled around, his sword coming up just in time to block one of the ugliest lizards he'd ever seen spring at him, mouth open.

"Of all the times..." He muttered as slashed at the lizard, the sent a bolt spell at it charged through his sword.

A brilliant flash, following that bellowing cry for the child.

Of course, draw them in - if Marlene did happen to hear you, then she'll come running for you alongside every other monster within radius to your call. The tact, Tseng was ever so impressed, Cloud still had his Leviathan forsaken tact.

A hand came to brush his fingers near his hair line, wiping the small drops of rain from his flesh as he took in a breath. Well, he found Cloud.

Once the lizard was taken care of Tseng stepped from beneath the tree he used for cover of the rain.

"I don't think that was Marlene.." of course it was a dry remark, as he eyed the twitching stench of the carcass he came to Cloud's side "If they got her, they would have taken her back to where they feed, we need to find the nest.. unless you think this Yazoo person is involved." His eyes up to Cloud now, in actual need of some direction.

After all, it was this tactful individual that told him about Yazoo.

Cloud couldn't care less about tact right now. All he cared was that Marlene was found safe and sound. He'd leave the skulking around in the shadows for Turks like Tseng. He'd always done better using the most direct way.

Once the lizard was a smoking heap on the ground he turned and glared at Tseng, his expression pretty much saying 'Of course it wasn't.' What came out of his mouth was, "They don't look like the type to do that. And even if they did, there should be some clues on the ground like blood or torn clothing. If it was Yazoo...I'm not entirely sure that's likely either. He's obsessed about Jenova, Marlene has nothing to do with THAT."

"Doesn't the child have something to do with you - as you have something to do with Jenova?" A chain reaction Cloud, really.

Tseng's brow rose and with a step he moved away from the lizard "You know this rain would have long passed wash that kind of evidence away by now.."

Then there was a quite familiar voice to his device - Aerith's post come through. One look to Cloud and he was well on his way toward the church.

(ooc! Because his priority is Aerith he drops this and scatters off. lol.. sorry Cloudy ♥)
