Flowers. Falling from the sky? Vincent had been nearby when he got Aerith's message, and not replying back he tucks away his NOC for safekeeping. This place had an unusual way of going about with its' weather, if flowers falling from the sky could even count as such. It isn't very long after he gets the message that he ends up spotting Aerith--was she nervous?

Should he be? No, he was as calm as ever as he stepped toward her, making himself known by letting his metal, pointed shoes scrap lightly over the street. Aerith surrounded by falling petals and whole buds somehow felt...right. Too bad he couldn't say the same for how the rest of it felt.

When the flowes started falling, Zack had halted in his hunting of the Salmadours. For some reason, the falling flora reminded him of the falling feathers when Genesis had revealed his one black wing in Banora, and that made him nervous.

The nervousness wasn't aided by the sound of metal against the street, and Zack turned to see Vincent walking over to Aerith, both of them at the nearby city gate. Bit far out for a meeting...unless. Dammit. They were probably planning to leave the city.

Slinging the Buster back into the harness on his back, Zack took off at a jog to go over to Aerith, a frown on his face when he got close. This wasn't going to end well.

She heard him coming and turned slowly, a smile on her lips as she offered a small wave to the approaching man. It might have fit her image, but flowers around Vincent looked a little less than right. "You came," she spoke as she moved closer. She couldn't say she hadn't expected him to, but the brief thought that he might refuse had crossed her mind. Especially after their conversation on the Church roof.

"Are you sure you want to go with me? It's..." not safe. But there was no point in saying it aloud, he knew the dangers and besides that, this was the man that had slept in a coffin without aging. Danger was probably the last thing on his mind, or so she assumed. It was maybe better not to have said it, however, although she didn't notice Zack's approach just yet.

Vincent shakes his head and stops a couple of feet away. "Safety has always been a risk for us." He replies, pausing as he's aware of an extra pair of eyes. Vincent looks over his shoulder, speaking softly, lowly enough so that only she could hear as Zack approached:

"Someone you know?"
