I really did not get the magic of Sara Ellis. She was uptight with delusions of grandeur. Ah, bless you. I'm so glad I'm not alone. ;) Granted, she was a step up from Kate, but still not someone who would work with Neal long term. I liked Neal with Alex, though. They were awesome. :) What about you?

Oh definitely, Alex was the most interesting, most appealing and most equal of Neal's love interests (Kate was a good idea, but miscast and hopelessly ill-plotted)

Wow! It's like we're kindred spirits. This is so cool! I agree, I think Kate was originally supposed to be a much more complex character, but the actress was SO weak that they intelligently let her go and gave Neal other love interests ( ... )
