as things are prepared on the other side, as the tree on the surface swells with blood, things are shifting down here, too.
all the kids are here now, the rest waking up. the situation is ripening for slenderman, and perhaps for the residents, too.
one of the trees close to the play-structure swells and buckles, suddenly, seeming to grow fatter and fatter on blood. the bark groans and buckles, the branches stretch and moan.
it continues to warp until it appears to be an exact duplicate of the blood tree back at the castle.
