[Thread] [Yako, Neuro, and... A WHITE KNIGHT?]

Who: Katsuragi Yako, Neuro, and possibly Tatsuki
What: Neuro "meets" Yako for the first time, while Yako is less than enthused. Tatsuki steps in as Yako alternately warns her away and wishes to GTF away from her "friend."
When: Nowish.
Where: Floor 17 hall.
Rating: PG-MEANTEEN.

Tatsuki's voice came up from the journal, but Yako didn't hear what was said because Neuro's particular grip was making talking - and breathing - difficult. The sound of the rattler didn't do anything to calm Yako's nerves, let alone when she jerked back from a light touch on her cheek.

"N-no I don't! Wait, who are you anyway?" Playing dumb was a good idea, really. "And I'm not blind. At all. I'm just... temporarily... blinded... by... the light."

Yako was sometimes better with lying, but now was not one of those times. Besides, sentences were harder to get out when Neuro was being an asshole - which was almost all the time.

She hoped Tatsuki would save herself, figuratively speaking. There wasn't much to be done with Neuro - hell, bullets didn't effect him, and when parts of him were lobbed off... he threw them at Yako and sat still when she held them in place and they reconnected.

If it wasn't one thing it was another tonight! Between being bit by poisonous snakes and Rinali mysteriously ill and this Neuro idiot bothering her friends and Yako-

Tatsuki was pretty pissed, when all was said and done.

And now Yako was in trouble. GREAT. Damn that Neuro! Tatsuki ran out of her room without really thinking, journal tucked in the waistband of her jeans. She took a moment to pause and concentrate, calling on Yoruichi's lessons to try and find her friend-

And was startled to feel Yako dimly, though quite close.. as well as a much stronger energy, right on top of hers.

Ohhhh that's not good.Without waiting Tatsuki bolted down the hall, keeping one hand on the wall so she didn't lose her way

Neuro's head jerked up with a blink. The voice...Ah! He smirked, throwing Yako into the closest wall. "You must be Tatsuki..." His snakes hissed and slithered around him, seeking the extra warmth that had suddenly been taken from them. He patted the head of the cobra around his neck in an attempt to calm the creature down.

"I was wondering when I'd see you..." He turned to Yako, pulling off his snakes and wrapping them around her. "Here. Hold these for me. If you don't make and sudden moves, the shouldn't bite you."

He wiped of his clothes before smiling "Now then. You were going to try and kick my ass?"

Yako's head was ringing from her abrupt introduction to the fourth wall, enough so to keep her from saying anything to Tatsuki though she was now ringed and bedecked in snakes. Perhaps something appropriate to, say, ancient Egypt, but to a teenage Japanense girl it was more downright frightening. Tears were rolling down her cheeks to keep her sightless eyes lubricated while Yako tried to calm her heartbeat.

There was a rattlesnake around her belly, and that meant various other poisonous creatures on her person. They were all upset at the shift in persons, and one boa was currently trying to strangle her left arm and was unhinging its jaw to swallow her left hand. Yako couldn't see this, but she did feel a little gartner nip her leg, and the strangled cry she cut off in an effort to remain as still as possible made her distress all the more clear.

"Yeah. That'd be me," Tatsuki said, her voice clipped. She opened her mouth to say something further, but stopped at his next words. Her eyes went slightly wide. Quickly figuring out what he must have done, Tatsuki advanced another step, an angry snarl on her face. "You get those things off Yako and let her go! What'd she do to you, anyway?!"

Yako's cry only made her angrier. Though she couldn't see what was happening, she could imagine, and she felt an intense pang of worry for her new friend.

"I AM going to kick your ass!" she shouted. Only now she wasn't so sure. She could follow Neuro's movements, sure, but couldn't see exactly what he was doing - besides, if she could sense him at ALL.. it meant he was pretty powerful. And Tatsuki had to get those snakes off Yako, now. Her racing mind flickered briefly to Ravi. She hated having more or less dragged him into this, but .. it looked like she was going to need his help. Badly.
