[THREAD] Trick or trick, trick or treat, give me something good to eat~

Mar 17, 2007 21:24

Who: Mago (carnivorism) and Hidan (bloodlessfaith)
What: Mago is out looking for a bite to eat, and Hidan is the unlucky man she picks.
When: Now.
Where: First floor. One of the more deserted corridors?
Rating: PG-13, possibly R later for violence.

It had been a while since Mago had tasted the flesh of a human, and her hunger was beginning to bother her. Small animals would only satisfy her for so long. )

hidan, mago

Hidan, for his part, was brooding. The expression on his face wasn't dissimilar from how he normally looked when disturbed by the lack of intelligence or piety of the morons who could only be salvaged in sacrifice; the difference was internal, in the current wreck of his mind.

God was on hiatus, and until he'd met the Knight of the faith over the journals, Hidan had thought God had turned his back on him.

Now he knew it was just a test of Faith, and Hidan would not fail. Again.

He was far too preoccupied with his own thoughts to pay notice at first to the feeling of being watched. Besides, he was more used to it, since he'd abandoned his Akatsuki cloak. So far, nothing had appealed to him as a substitute. Apparently, people couldn't deal with this fact. Fuck them.

Mago watched the man round the corner, apparently deep in thought. She gave him an appraising glance, looking him up and down to try and judge just what kind of a challenge he would be; not much of one, she concluded. This would be too easy.

She continued waiting as Hidan walked, waiting for the opportune moment. And then he was no more than a few feet from her, and she could smell him, that human smell -- Mago gripped her swords tightly and stepped out of the shadows, her expression calm. This man would go down easily: he didn't look at all prepared. Lifting her right arm, Mago wasted no time in charging at Hidan, her sword raised above her head as she prepared to strike the man in the chest.

He smelled warm. She could almost taste him already. What would he see when he looked at her? She almost wished it would be her human self, just because the surprise in their expressions was always so much more appealing when she began eating them that way.

Hidan reacted to the sudden movement, cursing as this woman he didn't recognize came at him with obvious intent to do harm. On some days, this might have meant she ran at him with her arms wide open, but today it meant there were sharp, pointy objects involved - and Hidan's best defense was his ability to dodge.

He fucking hated Paradisa. "What the fuck, you bitch!" He stopped and flung himself backward, a lesser feat for his level of shinobi. (Unfortunately, his level of shinobi unable to strike out was a limping butterfly in a forest absent of flowers.) He had been sufficiently distracted, however, that any strike executed would have cut across his unprotected flesh, drawing blood to his hiss of pain. "I was fucking thinking here!"
