Hitsugaya found his way to the sixth floor quite effortlessly, having acquainted himself with the castle's landscape a few hours after he'd first been placed in it. The second room was not hard to locate, either, and he soon found himself situated in front of Gin's door, where the aforementioned man had promised he'd be at. Sensing his reiatsu from behind the door, Hitsugaya knew he was telling the truth.

He'd come to question Gin about a few things - mostly about Aizen's whereabouts and his intentions here at the castle, though the boy was beginning to figure that Gin too might've been placed here mysteriously - so he wasn't inclined to violence at the moment. Even so, he kept his zanpakutou on his back in case Gin tried to do anything funny.

He opened the door and found Gin sitting in an armchair, reading a book - just like he'd said. But still... He spoke loudly. "Ichimaru Gin."

He blinked and closed the book.

"See? I weren't lyin'. No need ta yell either. " with those words his smile dimmed a little. "No what dya want?"

Gin really had no intention of telling the boy anything. Not that he knew anything. Gin was as clueless about his reasons for being here as could be.

Hitsugaya rolled his eyes and folded his arms as he entered the room. "You weren't," he admitted, quickly scanning his surroundings, "but it doesn't mean you aren't up to something else."

He stared at the book Gin had been reading for a few moments before making eye contact with him again. "Where is Aizen Sousuke?"

He just grinned a little more broadly at his comments.

He then placed a hand on his chin, looking thoughtful. "Well... I reckon he's still in Hueco Mundo. By any account, he ain't here."
