[She wasn't about to spend this loss wallowing inpity (although, given the sort of treats she'd been recieving when she just stuck to the lobby, it would have been very easy to do).]

[Kat's out learning how to be a cat, stalking the rodents and birds out on the grounds, but not yet taking initiative to attack. The castle really seemed to like forcing her to face the fact that she was missing one of her limbs and to adapt for its loss, something she hadn't had to do on home because of the advanced robotic prothesis that fed off her neural import.]

[But then she senses something else -- cat senses were, for the most part, entirely on par with Spartan senses, with one little exception. It wasn't even reallysomething she coupld place, although she had a feeling it was somehow linked to an intensely superior smell. Abandoning an unwary mouse she had been tracking, she follows her nose to find ... Wash?]

[Washington actually jumps a little at that meow. Someone isn't exactly in the best shape and it shows.] Damn, I'm overreacting. Just someone's loose pet or something.

[He kneels down for a better look though. Fortunately or unfortunately, it's a lot harder to tell human condition behind that kind of armor.]

[She can tell enough, if just from armor nuances, and hops a few steps closer and sits, looking up at him expectantly. How long would it take him to make the connection? And, what was wrong?]
