Ashura appeared at the stables in what amounted to his riding gear. He wore a spit over-robe that clung to his upper body and arms, a short obi around his waist. Beneath that he wore a pair of tight, doe-skin trews and a pair of knee high, black leg warmers that shoes toes and heels. It was an odd ensemble, but he had learned that the trews worked nicer for riding than his usual robes, but he was unwilling to let go of his people's styles. Thus, the resulting outfit - custom tailored via wishing

It seemed that someone was arriving already so Vivian stopped what she was doing for the moment to get ready to welcome them. She watched as the man approached, taking in what he was wearing with interest, wondering if it was part of his culture. Of course, Vivian didn't know that fact for certain but she did like meeting people who came from different backgrounds with interesting stories to tell.
She inclined her head in greeting, offering him a warm smile in return. "Yes, that's me. Hello. I'm afraid that I didn't get your name when we last spoke."
Vivian could find that out when he returned. What was captivating her now was what his steed was going to look like. When he had told her it was like a dragon, it had Vivian more than intrigued, maybe even a little frightened. She wasn't used to seeing odd things and this creature was no exception.
"It is Ashura," he called as he went into the box stall, and a moment later came out with his dragon horse.
Svitana shook his frilled head and danced a bit, claws scraping the floor of the barn as Ashura put him into the cross-ties. The beast secured he went to a trunk in front of the stall and opened it, pulling out what looked like a blanket and a girth.
"Though I think you might have figured that from Svitana here."
"A pleasure to meet you, Ashura," she called back in return, loud enough for him to hear.
Vivian didn't mean to gape at the dragon horse but she couldn't help it. She watched as the beast moved from a distance, afraid to get too close to the thing. Not that she should be afraid because it seemed to be quite tame. Thankfully, the other horses weren't rattled by him.
"I really should have. My apologies." She stopped what she was doing, taking a step forward. "Svitana." Vivian repeated. "Did I say that right?"
It was a good bet that wherever Ashura is, Felix is never far behind, or vice versa. Today isn't an exception, though usually where Felix liked to announce his presence as soon as possible, it's a much more subdued wizard that goes to ready a horse for himself - the same dappled mare he'd taken out on he and Ashura's first outing and secretly taken a small liking to.
Where his counterpart was exotic, Felix was merely anachronistic in his long golden riding coat and breeches, a navy blue waistcoat peeking through underneath as he silently fitted a harness on his horse.
After a few moments, Vivian noticed his presence in the stable and went to acknowledge him. She knew she had to catch Felix's attention first since he was attending to his horse at the moment.
"Hello there," she said politely, maintaining a short distance between them. "I'm Vivian. You must be one of the people I made plans with to come to the stable today, yes?"
Eleven sauntered into the stable and looked around. He grinned as he reached up and slid a stetson onto his head. River wasn't around to shoot it off, so he knew the hat was safe... for now.
When he saw Vivian he headed over, waving, "Hullo! Would you be Vivian?"
Now there was someone who was looking the part. Vivian saw him from the distance, noticing the hat to begin with. It was a nice touch for the day.
Vivian waved at him in return, offering him a warm smile. "That's me, yes. You would be the Doctor then?" She recognised his voice after all. "I love the hat."
Well, she appreciated someone getting into the role of a rider. Plus, the tip of the hat was a nice gesture.
"It suits the theme of the day," Vivian replied, taking the offered hand and giving it a firm shake. "The pleasure's mine, Doctor. Thanks for coming out today."
Percy usually hung out around the stables, so coming today was nothing strange for him. He was looking forward to meeting Vivian in person, though. He stepped into the stables and could hear all the horses getting excited.
Greetings, Lord! they said. Or at least in his head they did. To anyone else, it just sounded like typical horse noises.
Once her horse was settled in his stall, Vivian came along to meet the newcomer, offering him a warm smile. She was pleased that people were turning up today and how could they not really? It was a good day for riding.
"Percy?" Vivian said, remembering that he seemed young when she spoke to him a few days ago.
Galadriel arrived at the stables much more simply dressed than was her custom, but with all her usual grace. Even without her finer trappings, her bearing is quite regal.
Not that she's acting the part of a queen. Today, as far as she is concerned, she's simply one woman meeting another for a ride and, with any luck, to further an acquaintanceship. And so, upon spotting Vivian, she approaches with a warm smile.
Even if Galadriel wasn't in all of her finest clothes, Vivian could sense a lot of grace and elegance emanating from her. She also noticed how tall the the other woman is; about six inches higher than Vivian herself.
However, Vivian is going to treat her like anyone else: respectfully and warmly. She made no real distinctions between people. Unless they were her enemies of course.
The smile is returned by her as Vivian inclines her head in a nod. "That's me. It's lovely to meet you, Galadriel."
And that treatment is appreciated more than Vivian is likely to know. As much as she is proud of her station, it is nice to talk to people who aren't flustered or intimidated by it.
"And you as well."
One of the horses lowered his head, almost in greeting, and Galadriel spoke a few soft words to him in Sindarin, gently placing her hand on his forehead.
Being intimidated wouldn't do either of them any good and it would keep them from what their plans were for today.
Vivian watched as Galadriel said something to the horse and she wondered what those words meant as she had never heard that language before. The horse seemed to react well to them though.

"Just one person so far. Everyone else are experienced riders."
