Who: River Song and the Doctor What: River's loss has officially begun. There's a baby onboard the TARDIS When: 9/5 Where:TARDIS Rating: PG with a healthy does of fluff
Eleven had been taking a walk around the TARDIS, swinging a very odd looking umbrella as he went when he heard the cry. Stopping mid stride he twirled in a circle, trying to suss out where it was coming from. Picking a direction he rushed off, following the noise.
He slid to a stop in front of River's door, staring at it for a moment. "What?" Shaking his head, he burst into the room, looking around. It didn't take him long to see the child. He tossed the umbrella to one side and moved over, scooping her up, "There, there. It's all right. Well... maybe not quite all right. Who are you, hmm? And how did you get in here?"
The crying didn't let up, not even when he came in the room. Even though the infant was swaddled up good and warm, she was obviously getting hungry and fussy - as babies were known to do.
Fuzzy face. Like.
Well, she wasn't very articulate, but she's just a baby, so that's alright. Her crying seemed to lessen as her eyes focused on him when he picked her up.
"Fuzzy face? I hardly think I've got a fuzzy face." He chuckled.
"Come on, then, let's get you something to eat." He gently bounced her in his arms as he walked out of the room and headed towards the kitchen. "It's been a good long while since I've done this, but I think I still remember how it goes. Once we've gotten you fed I'll see about finding out who you are, my dear." He tickled her belly for good measure.
Her tiny little balled up fists lift towards his bowtie. That should have been a vital clue as to who this child was.
She was quite possibly the cutest and most hauntingly familiar baby he's seen. Just look at that adorable little face. If only it were possible to scream 'POND'...
You're not milk thing. Want milk thing!
She emphasized that with fussy whimper, which swiftly dissolved when he tickled her belly. Her little feet kicking adorably.

Obviously, a baby isn't going to know who she is.
