"You must be Irvine."

Ah. Short black hair, frown on her face, arms crossed and...well, just short in general. Yep, had to be Tatsuki! At least it fit what she sounded like from over the journals.

Grinning a little, Irvine snatched his hat off of his head and brought it down to his chest, bowing just a bit. He was a gentleman, right? Even if Tatsuki didn't believe him, he'd just have to prove it. Step one was bowing. Step two, was manners. Step three, was successfully not-flirting with any of the ladies he met at the present time. If he needed to get his usual goofy behaviors out of his system, there was always later with Hisoka and possibly Kuja

She frowned more deeply at that. "I'm NOT always frowning!" A pause. ".. I swear. Besides, you barely KNOW me at all, so.. hmph." She was proving his point, of course, and that only made her more irritated. She tapped her fingers on her arm, glancing off to one side, clearly annoyed.

She gave a forceful sigh and forced herself to look at him again. "I dunno, whoever. If we just happen to run into people.. it's better that they have no idea what's gonna happen, I think." That way they can't be prepared, she thought.

She raised a brow at the girl he pointed at and was about to reply when she heard Yachiru call out. She blinked at the girl.

Oh, for the love of...

Tatsuki decided to give Irvine a freebie. Just one, since she was still quite certain he'd fail later anyway. She grinned at Yachiru now, and gave a small wave. "Heya, Yachiru." She looked at Irvine with a wolfish grin, indicating that Yachiru would be their first target, and an easy one at that.

Yachiru skipped down the steps with a happy little hum. Her Zanpakuto bouncing behind her. The castle was being nice to her today! Well, more like, she pasted signs all over the 13th floor walls and on the staircase so she'd know where the 1st floor was.

She skipped the last step and made a giant leap onto the floor. A huge grin upon her face. Well, what do you know! Tatu was here! Was that good? "Nyaa~ I'm heeere~" Yachiru announced herself as she spun in a circle.

Irvine grinned at the short girl who came launching on down the stairs. She was...well, she was tiny. Was she a kid or what? Hm. Either way, the situation was fine with him. ...And by the almost scary look on Tatsuki face it must have been alright with her as well. Off he went then.

Closing the space between the two of them in only a couple of strides (it was good to be so tall sometimes) Irvine leaned over a little and held out his hand to the small pink-headed cutie. Oops. He'd better be careful not to say that outloud. Maybe he and Tatsuki should have defined 'flirting'...

"Hey there! Glad you're here. My name's Irvine Kinneas. Who're you?"

Her name. That counted for one thing right? Great. One down, five to go.

Yachiru frowned when the man leaned over to her. She didn't like people looking down on her especially now when she was having a great difficulty with gaining other's respect. But that wasn't any good! No need to make enemies so soon, ne?

"Yachiru Kusajishi, 11th Division Vice Captain~" She giggled. "What's your name~?" Yachiru smiled and tugged at his sleeve innocently.

Tatsuki just stood back, watching with arms still folded, clearly amused. She held up one finger - one thing so far. She was going to be keeping VERY close track.

Fou calmly walked through the hall with her head tilted down. She tapped her finger lightly against her bottom lip as she mused over things in her mind. The castle had given her a lot to think about lately, most of it she didn't know how to take.

At times like these, it was nice to get out of the cramped confinement of her stuffy little room, and walk around. Who knows, maybe she would meet up with someone who knew what was going on and would be able to get valuable information out of them? Then again, it wasn't that important, she just wanted a chance to stretch her legs.
