Peter couldn't remember the last time he had any sort of vacation. And although this was far from the ideal, it was still a break from the castle. A break with Phoebe. Peter wanted to make the best of these

Phoebe took his hand with a fond smile. She was the most relaxed, well rested and happy she'd been in over a month. She went up on her toes to press a soft kiss to Peter's lips. "Hey, yourself."

She had no idea what he had planned for them, but she didn't care. She was spending time with Peter, time away from the castle. Granted, the town doesn't quite qualify as 'getting away from it all' but it's as close as they can get in this place.

He started off by just walking her down the street. A grin had formed from her kiss and lingered there. Peter was smiling a lot more these days because of Phoebe.

"Where to?" he asked her. "Are you hungry? Or you just want to get a drink somewhere?"

"Hmmm. How about some food. Know of anywhere good?"

Phoebe gave his hand a squeeze, looking at him out of the corner of her eye as they walked. She had certainly noticed that he seemed to be smiling more now than when they had first met. She wasn't sure what she was doing to bring about that change, but she was going to do everything she could to make sure it didn't stop.

"Depends on what you like," Peter answered thoughtfully. "I know a place that's good, and it's pretty quiet." And somehow he still remembered the way, even though he only went there once before almost a year ago.
