Spike also had decided to wander around outside. After spending a week locked in a tower, he was feeling more claustrophobic than usual. He needed to get out. But all that changed when he saw Buffy standing there. It felt like she'd been gone forever. He'd worried. But her stuff all seemed to be still there, so he'd figured it was a loss.

He rushed towards her and grabbed her arm, giving her a concerned look as he sneakily tried to make sure she looked reasonably healthy and intact.

"Buffy?"

The initial shock of someone so abruptly grabbing and saying her name caused Buffy to take a sudden gasp before turning her head to Spike, wide-eyed.

"You--," her voice was faint at first. "You can see me?"

And before even waiting for an answer, her hand touched gently against his own, almost as if she was frightened this wasn't for real. Once she felt her hand against his cool skin, she began trailing it up his arm before fully turning to him, placing her hands on either side of his face. A smile immediately drew to her lips.

"I can feel again." She was so happy that she hadn't even noticed how awkward this might had looked to everyone else... hell, even herself, had she been in her normal mindset.

Spike smiled back at her uncertainly and reached up to touch the back of her hand. "Yeah, I can see you. Feel you, too." He certainly didn't mind Buffy's hands on him, but he couldn't help but worry at her reaction. Being able to be seen and felt wasn't supposed to be unusual.

He took her hand in his and gently pulled it away from his face, but he kept hold of it gently. She could pull away if she wanted to, but she looked like she wanted the contact, and he wasn't about to deprive her.

"Have you been a ghost, pet?" He looks worried and sympathetic. He's been there, after all.

"I don't know... I guess so," it all seemed so confusing now that she was out of it. Was that what had happened? In all the time that Buffy had spentb by herself she never really considered herself a ghost, but it made sense. Her brows unfurrowed as she glanced back up at him now.

"I could see and hear everyone but they couldn't see or hear me. I even tried using my journal but ..." well, he knew what was next, obviously. She held hisbhand unknowingly, basking in the presence of another human being. Former, at least.

Faith didn't often come to the castle, so the odds of her happening onto Buffy one of those rare times she was -- it was sort of miracle statistics here. Still, she'd ventured to the Death Match once and this time she was stealing food from the kitchen. Living in the city had its perks, but the drawbacks was that she needed to buy things to survive.

Or she had to steal.

Hand shoved into the cereal box, she shifted the bag on her shoulder, currently holding a few non-perishables, as she moved through the lobby. She hadn't expected to bump into Buffy.

"Shit. Sorry. I'll... yeah, I'm outta here."

Cupid was used to walking around invisible to mortals, but he'd never have the opposite happen. Needless to say, when this girl up and appears from seemingly nowhere in front of him, he's more than a little confused.

"How'd you do that?"

Angel is chillen in the lobby with a book or something. He doesn't make it a habit of sitting himself down anywhere a bunch of people typically congregate or pass by throughout the day, but for whatever reason he wasn't going out of his way to avoid humanity right now. He's just going to read his boring old book, completely unaware of any Buffy happenings going on. Maybe if she stands there long enough he will smell her I don't know.
