Intervention _fredless August 15 2011, 01:53:57 UTC
All in all, Fred's had just about enough of it. Enough of the avoiding, enough of the worry. Enough of the general certainty that something just wasn't right.

So she's placing herself in the lobby. And that is where she is going to stay until she can get Wesley to discuss the subject of Damon Salvatore. Even if there's some valid explanation for his change of heart? Something that doesn't set her teeth on edge and make Fred hold herself tight with worry? The others should know. Hopefully Spike will show up soon, and help her force the confrontation.

She moves to sit on the familiar bit of round upholstery.

And waits.

Spike shows up a few moments after she does and gives her a small, comforting smile. He doesn't know what's going on with Wesley, but when he's acting off, and the vampire villain in question can control minds... it's definitely worth looking in to.

"You all right, love?" he asks as he approaches her.

She doesn't make any immediate move to get up, even though it's Spike. But Fred does tilt her face towards his briefly, acknowledging his presence. Despite the coiled tension that's holding her entire body tight, she is grateful that he's there.

"Not especially." Fred looks to the stairs, then back to the door that's holding all of them in. "Wesley's going to hear what I have to say, if it likes it or not."

Wesley happens to be coming down the stairs, having intended to check if the lobby counter needs a tidy up. But in seeing Fred and Spike there, he frowns slightly, wondering what they are speaking about. Judging from Fred's posture it's not anything good. His footsteps slow a little.

To say that the tower itself had been run through the gamut of emotions was putting it lightly. This wasn't what she had envisioned when she had suggested a group brunch meeting for the whole group of them. She thought there would be food and talking and that they'd all remember the good times. The times that Harmony always heard about when things were stressful at the law firm. They'd all have these stories from back when they were Angel Investigations. It was those moments that made them remember why they were there and she had just thought that they'd remember those stories and then they'd want to refocus on the group again ( ... )

Oh hey, look at Angel walk into the room and see ... only Harmony sitting there.

"I was under the impression that this was supposed to be a group thing."

Which made it even more surprising that he was one of the first/only member of their group to show up. She wasn't trying to give him an intervention too, was she?

Whatever you do, don't let him sing, Harmony.

Huffing out a sigh, she shrugged over to Angel. "I don't think it was an official invite thing, but I'm trying at least."

She knew it was all... tense in the tower, but she felt like she could do something here.

"I can see that."

He'll go ahead and approach, since he sort of stopped short when he realized it was only him and Harmony here.

"I think everyone else can, too."

You know, in case she happened to feel guilty that she had lured everyone into a trap, even if it wasn't on purpose. At least in Spike's case, he was sure she'd been made to feel bad at some point.
