Phoebe chewed on her bottom lip as she looked around. She promised her sisters and Peter that she would stay out of things as much as possible, but it was her premonition that brought everyone here tonight and nothing could keep her from seeing it through to the end.
Staying in the basement with his TARDIS had its advantages, Five had decided. For one, the basement was much closer to the kitchen than the eleventh floor. He was coming back down with a cold drink, ready to get back to work, when he saw an unfamiliar face in the hallway.
Yuan had, for the second night in a row, nearly fallen asleep at his desk in his new office, which was becoming inconvenient - the arrangement he'd had back at his base, with a guest bedroom adjoining his office itself, would make much more sense in this situation, and his tired mind was actively considering it as he headed back up to his room.
He stopped when he noticed the figures in the hallway, though.
Rinzler froze, hiding himself around a corner, out of view of the other three. This had been something he was vaguely banking on. He knew it would be too much to expect the entrance to be completely clear, no guards of any sort around it. Three, however, he hadn't expected. Especially not one he was familiar with... Unfortunate but of little consequence.
Rinzler was confident in his skills, he just needed to wait for the right moment to strike, or this could turn into something noisy and potentially draw more people down.
