York had arranged this primarily so Kat wouldn't crash the Falcon she'd just spent five months of her life building. )

Having taken a couple days to rest after the worrying strong to kill Elite-Washington, Kat's certainly more fresh when she arrives than the last time she and York spoke. Sye's in full armor, already armed with her data pad and an ammunition case of newly completed weapons for testing if they got the chance.

"I see you're already to go."

Washington can't help a sigh at that, moving to the other gun. "Lovely. So they were making monsters to fight monsters. Sounds like a winning strategy. Really."

He nods. "Ready for some action though. Piracy wasn't exactly to my tastes for excitement. And being analien was more dull than anything."

"And then they were surprised when they turned against their creators. Color me surprised."

He's talking entirely over the helmet radio now, thanks to the noise. Once the passengers are situatied, York brings the Falcon off the ground and up to a hovering altitude, going slowly enough for Kat to get a quick look at the diagnostics.

Since Delta has no concrete idea what a tentacled humanoid would really look like, though, he's prepared a simulation of a giant land kraken off in the distance and they begin to move closer to it. York seems to ahve a steady hand at piloting.

Kat makes a quick note in her data pad to start constructing spare helmets with audio capabilities for anyone they'd be training to fly with them that wouldn't have the armor otherwise, with a secondary note to look into incorporating the VISR program if she could duplicate it from Rookie's system.

And after a moment, she's making another note. "Delta, see if you can tighten up the blast from the left thruster, it's going a little wide."
