Legato's in his room, relaxing in a chair by the window, coat hanging neatly in the closet. He had been planning on staying in and enjoying the rest of his quiet evening, but... upon sensing Zelman's return to the mansion, he has a feeling that those plans may just change. ...Oh well, the quiet was nice while it lasted.

He slams the door open (the only proper way to make an entrance at a time like this). Were he any more of a sensible a person, he would have realized that this is probably a silly thing to be annoyed about. It was a stupid loss and Legato did something equally stupid, and they could have all gone on about it over coffee and talked about how ridiculous the whole thing was.

But he is not a more of a sensible person. He walks up to where Legato is sitting, grabs the front of his shirt (curling his fingers around the fabric) and lifts him up out of his chair.

He growls, "Why the hell did you do that!?"

He doesn't fight being dragged out of his chair, his expression sliding to an easy smile. Well! It seems the question of whether or not Zelman was going to overreact or not has been answered. Distantly, he wonders if Asuka will notice.

So amused, completely unaffected by the obvious and immediate threat to his wellbeing. "Can't take a joke, Zelman? I thought you wanted me to lighten up a little."

Asuka just so happened to be within earshot of the door being slammed open.

Whoops. That had to be Zelman.

By the time Asuka gets to Legato's room, she sees she's just a little late in telling him not to beat Legato up.

Whoops again.

"Hey! Put him down!"
