One of the downsides Tony hadn't thought about when he'd been weighing the pros and cons of his new state was the lack of sleep. At first, it had seemed useful. He wouldn't need to worry about getting blown up in his sleep, or being blown up because he was sleep deprived, because he didn't need sleep

Batman couldn't help but give the robot a flat look at his reply. "'No one?'" he asked. Because really, what was he? Chopped liver.

But he had a point which Bruce had to acquiesce to, so that was all he'd say on the matter. Instead he looked the large figure over, noting how it was built and what it seemed like it could do. After all, fighting giant robots wasn't exactly a new thing for him.

"You haven't been around the castle before the last few days. At least, not in that." He nods towards the suit. "Who are you?"

"There was no one else here," Tony amended, the emphasis carrying through even with the armor's distinct voice modulator. He put down the book he had just finished flipping through and turned partially. He was glad he was stuck in a more flexible suit. Despite its size this one had a greater degree of mobility than several of its immediate predecessors. It felt natural enough.

"For simplicity's sake, you can call me Iron Man, and yes, I am a recent arrival."

His eyes narrow and his voice takes on a slightly harsher tone. "How recent?"

Because if this guy was with the iron suits they suspect of being involved in the kidnappings? Back-up or no, he'd be taking this guy down right fast. Who cares if he didn't have his aim any more. Those people took his kids. No body messed with the Batman's kids and got away with it.
