Having been fixed up from this encounter with Iron Man (as well as the fall with Washington that he himself had been responsible for), Meta had wasted no time in getting back to investigating and exploring and searching for anything: any clues, any trails, any possible indication of the wereabouts of York and Delta.

And, having been fixed, he had been doing all of this in the safety of invisibility, until that one shot pinged off his helmet. He turned towards his attacker with a growl, leaving the enhancement in place for a moment but suspecting that was no lucky shot.

It certainly was no lucky shot, Tres didn't believe in luck. Just programming.

Walking firmly towards Meta, he raised both his guns and fired two shots in quick succession.

"Adjusting speed by 19.3%"

The first shot hits the black bodysuit of his neck, causing him to twitch and growl angrily, but the silver bullet does little damage to the titanium-based material. The second hits Meta's arm as he throws it in front of his face, bouncing off like the first.

Meta recognizes the voice from the journals. He was promised a fight, from this one. Feeling no need in walking, Meta runs, closing the distance quickly while pulling his Brute Shot from his back.

Tres immediately analysed the weapon as a 78% threat to his external structure, and the speed to be above average for a terran man.

"Adjusting shot angle to target weapon."

He immediately fires at the weapon being drawn against him, attempting to incapacitate it before it could be used against him.
