Rory is sagging against the wall and silently willing the doors across the hall to stop moving like leaves floating on water. He blinks several times before he's aware that Amy has asked him a question. A few more seconds pass before he can gather up his thoughts enough to answer.

"It was cards," he says plaintively, like that explains everything. "You hafta have a pint while playing ... cards ..."

He's starting to slide down to the floor. He catches himself and presses a palm flat to the wall, pushing himself back up.

"Besides. I was worried about you."

She shouldn't have asked. He always worries about her.

"I was--I am--fine," she replies, unlocking the door and taking Rory's arm to guide him inside. It doesn't sound very convincing to her own ears, but luckily Rory probably won't even notice.

He lets her lead him inside, and puts a hand out--the room is spinning uncomfortably too, and he wishes it would stop]

"You didn't see yourself though," he adds, a bit unnecessarily. "Bloody scary. You wouldn't move, or talk, even after we got the thingy--the orb--out of your hands."

He fights off a wave of nausea as the floor seems to tilt up to meet him, and makes a face. Despite being blitzed, he knows that this is not the best time in the world for him to be blitzed, and he regrets getting drunk now that Amy's awake.

"Ugh, I wish this place had a--a de-drunkifier," he mumbles as he drags a hand down his face. "Or coffee. A coffee would be brilliant."

"In a minute," Amy says, kicking the door shut behind them and prodding Rory along towards the bed. "You need to get settled before you cause some damage."
