Fancy cars weren't anything new. Ten minutes walking down the street had shown Steph a ton of nice, sleek, expensive cars she that would never be able to afford in her life. Not that she really cared, or anything. At home, she was able to get around the city well enough by rooftop and foot.

But when one of the fancy cars pulled up next to her and a familiar voice, came out of it, Stephanie nearly choked on her gum. She pounded her fist against her sternum to dislodge the wad of gum out of her throat.

"Tim?"

He would be driving around in one of the nicer cars. She could feel the eyes of some of the people window shopping on them, and the surrounding drivers sure seemed annoyed at the sudden stop

Stephanie couldn't help but smile a little. Right in this moment, she could forget the perpetual awkwardness between them and... what? Where to?

"I have no idea," she said sheepishly, "I've just been wandering around. What about you? Where were you going before you detoured to pick a girl up off the street?"

It didn't take a lot to know that Tim landed lucky. He was probably in some posh mansion with swimming pools full of moneybags. Most of the Bat family seemed to have ended up well-off, barring herself and Cassandra.
