He'd been wandering aimlessly all day. It was another day that he would think might feel like a dream...if he could remember his dreams. Sounds were color, because color didn't hurt. It was just...nice to look at. The castle itself was full of so many people, it made it difficult to survive in, even with the color every which way. Most days were fine, but without his limiter, he was slowly losing control of his power more and more ( ... )

When he doubled over...That was worrying for a few different reasons. First of all, because he was a human being and to see another in what appeared to be some form of pain...It was something she hated to see. It was also that the he in question was Joshua, Rosette's beloved younger brother. After all this time and effort to find him, well finding him ill or injured would just be another unfair obstacle to added to the whole situation. The last was...Who had done it to him, and once they had...What became of them? Ultimately it didn't appear that anything was the matter with him at all. He straightened up and turned to face her as if nothing had happened ( ... )

His gaze wandered along her clothes, noticing that she was only in a nightgown, but not really seeing that as anything important. He'd shown up when sleeping, too, and had wandered for two days before realizing what was even remotely going on. Was she scared? No, surely someone must have told her, because if she was there...

"Is Aion here?"

With a little laugh, Joshua slowly walked in her direction. "That's great! I've been here for a long time already, you know. I was just waiting...waiting for him to show up. He brought the others, too, right? And Fiore? Where's Fiore?"

She backed up a step for that exact reason. Even remembering he was Rosette's brother didn't stop the slight well of fear at him walking closer and asking after Aion. Why wouldn't he be here? If he wasn't here...Where was he, and what was he doing? Did he have her friends? Or was he just disposing of them, now that he had what he had come for? It always happened that way.

Her lapse of answering hadn't slowed him down any, and he sounded so happy, so friendly, she felt hard pressed to follow along. "A long time? But you were just...I don't know where he is. I haven't..." Fiore? She tried to think back and attach a face to the name and couldn't do it. She must not have met them, or they must not have been present at the confrontation. Or if she was...The one with the short dark hair, perhaps? She had not been paying attention.

As concerning as Aion not being around was, the fact that no one was, was even more so. Had something gone wrong? "You took me...I woke up here. I don't...Know what's going on."

That made him slow and stop, looking at her as if she was suddenly the one to grow horns. "Took you? Mm..." Brow crinkling, he tipped his head back to stare at the ceiling thoughtfully. Was he remembering wrong? He knew he couldn't remember things about his sister, but...everything else was clear. Maybe she had hit her head? Well, if she had, he wasn't going to heal her. Too much trouble.

"No, that was awhile ago. You must have forgotten. This isn't Eden..."

With a shrug, he looked back at her and reached out to take her arm, firm but not rough. "Aion must be here too, if you are. Let's go. He must have come to get me. This place isn't any fun anymore."

As much as Joshua detested heading back upstairs, it was worth it if Aion was near. Joshua couldn't really sense anything, but all the noise rattling around in his head made it difficult to tell anything apart. Pulling Azmaria with him, he continued murmuring, "It would be nice to have Fiore's pudding again. I had some recently, but it wasn't the same."
