Who: Hatake Kakashi and open. What: Paranoid ninja murderer get. When: During the amnesia plot. Where: Around the castle, idk. Rating: PG to R? We'll see...
Shinobu couldn't stick around her room for too long either. As pretty but creepy as this place was, especially for erasing her memory, she thought it was better to familiarize herself with her surroundings. Plus, people were finding each other's mementos all over the castle. Maybe if she got lucky, she'd find some of hers before they fell into the wrong hands. Why she'd worry about that so much, almost to the point of paranoia, she didn't know
( ... )
At the mention of his name, Kakashi stilled. He'd been recognized? His hand instictively curled around the kunai he'd pocketed. Whoever this woman was, she must have been keeping an eye out for him--not many people could discern another's identity when it was concealed behind a dark mask.
"Who's asking?" He replied, somewhat defensively, as he turned to look at her from over his shoulder. She didn't look to be much of a threat on her own--definitely not law enforcement of any kind from what he could tell. He could probably take her, if it came to that.
Hopefully this wouldn't end up being the last time she approached a paranoid ninja with no memories.
She wouldn't have guessed his (possible) identity if she hadn't happened upon that video of a younger masked man. Shinobu didn't want anything from him, unless he had something of hers she wasn't aware of. All she wanted to do was return the thing to him, if it really was his.
"Shinobu." The conviction behind his voice put the young woman on edge, so she gave him the name that came to mind first. "Shinobu" sounded more powerful, almost as if standing by it gave her an entirely different, stronger persona. As if she was worthy to carry the sword slung off her hip that supposedly belonged to her.
He didn't need to know the blade couldn't be bared.
"If you're him, then I have something for you," she continued, then held up the video. "One of the kids in this looks like you, and I haven't seen all that many people here covering up their faces like that."
It seemed innocent enough. Somehow Kakashi's instinct was to keep his guard up, however. One hand still holding the kunai within his pocket, the masked ninja approached to take the item that she was holding out to him. If she was telling the truth and this video gave some sort of insight into who he was beyond just 'Hatake Kakashi', then he would want to see it for himself.
"How did you come across this?" He asked, his curiosity sort of outweighing his gratitude at the moment.
