It's totally fine! <3 Before the potluck, I assume then! scarletspeedsta July 6 2009, 01:40:09 UTC
Wally was about to head down to the lobby, and waiting in his room. Of course he was ready in time, he was double-checking himself, and pacing of course. Pacing? He looked at himself in the mirror and slapped himself out of his anxious mood.

He was wearing a fitted white v-neck shirt and jeans. "Hm. Do I look too boring?" He muttered to himself as he messed with his hair slightly, which he hardly ever styled. It was usually either tucked into a mask or messed up from the mask. "Eh, good enough."

He was excited to see Maya Fey. Quite a few girls here had treated him like a venereal disease when he made passes at them. Maya was way different, though. Totally innocent, sweet, and way cute. He smiled, then opened his door, and shut it behind him, and was there in a "flash".

"Maya." He stopped running just behind her, and tapped her lightly on the shoulder.

She was jerked out of her reverie by his greeting. However, an unfortunate side effect of being deep in thought, she jumped about a mile high and made a strange squeal. "Wally!" once she knew who it was she laughed a bit, mostly at herself. "Sorry, geez you scared me," she laughed again, obviously not angry.

Such an adrenaline rush was exactly what she needed. She bounced up and turned around, grinning ear to ear. "So, ready to watch some samurai action?" she threw a few kung-fu chops to empty air just to emphasize her point. Funny enough, this felt almost like an afternoon with Nick (you know, after she convinced him that his work could wait for tomorrow, and this was the weekend after all, so they should have fun!).

He stepped back when she jumped like that, not surprised by her reaction at all. He never tried to sneak up on people, they just never noticed him show up until he was right in front of them.

Her grin placed one on his face in return. He watched her throw her kung-fu chops with a small laugh and nodded, "Yeah, just don't beat me up before we get there." He caught one of her chops and grabbed her hand. "Shall we walk, or speed-run? Movie theater's six floors up."

"I'll do my best, although you should be on your guard," she teased. After he grabbed her hand she stood there, not really caring that one hand was awkwardly sticking out and being held by his. At the idea of going by super-speed her eyes grew, and she pumped her free fist.

"Can we really? My arm won't fall off or anything?"
