Wally was, as well, garbed in his civilian attire. He ruined the man-date by bringing Diana, but he felt guilty for mentioning the plans in front of her and telling her she couldn't go. He felt kind of like the popular girl in school.

He sat at the bar beside her, drinking whiskey. Beer was too light for knowing your fate. Whiskey was way more dramatic. Like a cowboy.

Wally spun on his stool and faced Booster as he entered the bar. "Hey, Michael." He looked at Diana, then Michael again. "I brought her. She's in the same boat as I am, so... yeah." He gave Booster a look, then spun back around to face his drink. "Have a seat, Grim."

Diana, not bothering with anything but her impractical Warrior Bathing Suit, glanced down at Wally's drink with a look of distaste before looking down at her glass of water.

She'd considered ordering an alcoholic beverage, but thought over the possibility of any of the four of them being attacked during their outing. Four intoxicated heroes wouldn't hold well against a competent villain, and so she decided to abstain. At least for now.

She turned and gave Booster a confident wave, aware that he and Ted might not like the idea of her company putting a damper on the entire "Guy's Night Out" thing.

"Surprise."

“Hey, Wally. … Hey, Diana?”

He was surprised to see Diana there, but he really didn’t mine. He liked Diana, after all, and knew for a fact that she was way better comfort than he would ever be. Plus he liked looking at her. That was always a bonus.

“It’s fine. Doesn’t have to be a sausagefest to be a good time.” Wait. “I mean--”

He immediately dropped it, and tried to avert the attention away from his awkward sentencing. “Ted’ll be late. He’s probably gussying up as we speak.”

He took a seat beside Wally, leaning over to sneak a peak at Diana. “Nothing for you?”

Wally rolled his eyes at Michael staring at Diana. Then that reminded him to check her out himself, except he could do it a lot faster than Michael.

"Let her be. I have a feeling she'll made a worse drunk than I." He patted Diana on the shoulder. "Don't let him pressure you." He finished his whiskey, and ordered two more, finishing one of them right away.

Alcohol hit Wally hard, fast, and shortly. So he had to keep them coming. But sometimes it was hard to tell, and he wasn't that good at pacing. "Can I get a tall beer?" He asked the bartender, then turned to Diana. "Actually you should probably drink. Otherwise you're about to be really annoyed with me and I'll be embarrassed tomorrow. After Bruce, you're the last person I want to see me drunk if you're not." He looked at Michael.

"So...," He kept his eyes on Michael, "Diana, do you know who 'Superboy-Prime' is?"

"Oh," Diana ran a finger along the cold cup as she raised a brow at Wally. "So while I can change how I will receive your behavior, you cannot change how you will behave? What a determinist attitude." She glanced up at the bartender, tapping the table lightly with her cuffed wrist.

"I'll have some wine, then."

A little couldn't hurt. She had restraint, and even though she trusted and loved her male friends, she still preferred to drink in the company of women.

"I do, yes. Why?" She followed Wally's gaze over to Michael, a bit confused. "You didn't invite him too, right?"

Joke attempt.
