There was so much that he had to say to Kon, that he'd imagined saying to him if he got to see him again, but he'd not planned for a situation like this, exactly. He'd thought about what to do if Kon had no memories or all his memories, but not what he'd do if it was partly-Kon, younger-Kon. You know, his best friend but before half of what they'd been through together.
He watched Kon struggle with his XBox controller and crept up behind him. "You suck at this game," he said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck and seriously wishing that he'd found his usual uniform in the closet. He'd had to go capeless, and he wasn't used to the weight off his back.

"S'up, man?" Man, Robin looked both smaller and larger than before-- like he had lost weight, and Tim really didn't have a lot weight to lose before, but gained the huge Bat-Presence, that thing that made Batman look like he was eight feet tall.

Tim could keep himself from getting all teary-eyed at the sight of his best friend - besides, it made the lenses of his mask all foggy - but he absolutely would not give up the opportunity to hug his best friend for the first time in a year and a half. If Kon refused to stand up, he'd find himself with a songbird wrapped around his neck giving him the noogie of a lifetime, impregnable forcefield or no.

"You lie, birdboy. You lie like a bat-y rug."
